About Shoestring Shoestring Records was started in 1978 by Howard Neal and David Banks. In 1984 Howards Neal became the sole owner of the company. Howard produced artist such as Carletta Sue, Jimmie Green, The James Family, Pete & Cheez, and K.K. Clanton. In 1990, Howard Neal became a solo artist on Shoestring Records with a Jazz tune entitled "Orient Safari" which sold in Europe. The company became a full service operation. From production of master recordings to manufacturing of CD duplication. The duplication company is a joint venture with Shoestring Records and P.O.W. Productions which is owned by Mr. Edmond "Pete" Henderson. |
